Book 4. American Icon: Alan Mulally and the Fight to Save Ford Motor Company.

This book starts slow or at least seems to for somebody who grew up in Michigan and might not need the history of Ford as a background. Also, it is written by a journalist and is more of a historical account than a business guide. All of that being said, wow does it ever picks up speed. And what a fantastic case study. I am hoping Alan Mulally writes a book on management someday; until then, read this. If you have cultural issues in your organization, read this. Ok…just read it; I don’t care who you are.
